Grey Fox Mourns Passing of Henry Rothvoss, Sr. -- Ancramdale, NY -- The Grey Fox production team, artists and fans mourn the loss of Henry Rothvoss, Sr., 86, of Ancramdale, N.Y., who passed on Saturday June 10, 2006 after a prolonged illness. Born on May 11, 1920 in Ancramdale, he married Rosalie Shook on August 4, 1945 and together they established the successful Rothvoss dairy farm which has been home to Grey Fox, Winterhawk and the Berkshire Mountain bluegrass festivals since 1976.

Services and burial were held on June 13 in Copake and Ancramdale, NY. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Rosalie (Shook) Rothvoss of Ancramdale; a daughter and son in law, Teri and Paul of Manhattan, Montana and a son, Hank of Ancramdale and a son and daughter in law, Danny and Margaret also of Ancramdale. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Ancramdale Presbyterian Church, Ancramdale N.Y. 12503. Cards may be sent to Mrs. Rosalie Rothvoss and Family, 508 County Route 3, Ancramdale, NY 12503.
